Shengluo Zhang is a producer, director, and VFX artist in award-winning short films and TV series internationally. Breaking the boundaries of the medium, Shengluo creates visual content involving animation, live-action, visual effects, VR, etc.
Shengluo produces animations and supervises VFX and post-production for live-action films.
The short animations she produced were selected by the Tribeca Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival, etc. She also worked as a PA in Wong Kar-Wai's latest TV series, Blossoms Shanghai《繁花》.
The short film she directed was selected by the Bucheon International Animation Festival and Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival. The 2 fashion films she created VFX for were both selected by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Her thesis film is supported by the FOX Fellowship Endowment Fund.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Shengluo lived in New York City and Italy for a few years.
