Shengluo Zhang (she/her) is a producer and VFX artist working across award-winning films and television series internationally. She holds an M.F.A. in Animation from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Her work pushes the boundaries of the medium by integrating animation, live-action, visual effects, and virtual reality.

 

Shengluo specializes in animation and post-production producing. The short animated films she has produced have been selected by numerous prestigious festivals, including the Tribeca Film Festival, the Austin Film Festival, the Busan International Film Festival, and the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film. She has also worked on the production team of Wong Kar-wai’s television series Blossoms Shanghai.

Her films have received the FOX Fellowship Endowment Fund (2023) and the Proof of Concept Grant, funded by Netflix and Dirty Films (2025).

Originally from China, Shengluo lived in New York City and Italy for several years before relocating to Los Angeles.
